Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Monday, May 9, 2016 at a 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Barbara Ann Jackson Dartez, 87, who died Friday, May 6, 2016 at Baylor St Luke's Medical Center, Houston Texas.

She will be laid to rest at St. Alphonsus Cemetery in Maurice, with Reverend Louis Richard officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband, Louis Avery Dartez of Houston, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joe Dennis Jackson and the former Marcia Kerr.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, May 8, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.; Monday, May 9, 2016, from 8:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
