He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Theresa DeVille of Abbeville; four daughters, Tesia DeVille of Rayne, Titinia and her husband, Ray Duhun of Abbeville, Tracy and her husband, Christopher Meinecke of Abbeville, and Laura and her husband, Derek Gaspard of Kaplan; three sisters, Judy Fay and her husband, Ray Luquette of Abbeville, Judy Ann and her husband, Bradley Romero of Maurice, and Louella and her husband, Lennis Schexnader of Meaux; ten grandchildren, Amber Verdin, Amanda Morrison, Cody Morrison, Marie Cepeda and her husband, Zack, Christopher Duhon, Paul DeVille, Kelsee Thibeaux, Lance Naumann, Maddison Gaspard, and Colton Gaspard; and four great grandchildren, Weinter Morrison, Bayleen Scott, Jeremiah Morrison, and Mia Grace Cepeda.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Wilson DeVille and the former Ernestine Lege; and one brother, Wilson Paul DeVille.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, May 8, 2016 from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 6 p.m.; Monday, May 9, 2016 from 8 a.m. until services.
