Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Patricia Abshire Marceaux, 48, who died Thursday, May 19, 2016 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Abshire Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband, Love Marceaux of Kaplan; one son, Shawn Marceaux of Kaplan; one stepson, Jeremy Marceaux of Kaplan; one daughter, Jessica Lynn Abshire and her fiance, Trent Herpin of Kaplan; one stepdaughter, Brandy Marceaux of Kaplan; one grandson, Corey Herpin of Kaplan; two sisters, Lea and Lisa Abshire of Maurice; one brother, Anthony Abshire of Maurice; one nephew, Brock Abshire; and two nieces, Brigette Abshire and Shelby Gaspard.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer Abshire, Jr. and the former Gloria Demette; and one nephew, Jade Abshire.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Sunday, May 22, 2016 from 8 a.m. until services.
