Funeral services will be held Monday, May 25, 2009 at a 3:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church honoring the life of Henry William Lormand, 85, who died Friday, May 22, 2009 at his residence.
He will be laid to rest at Graceland Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services. His pallbearers will be his grandsons. He is survived by his wife, Lucie Marie Primeaux Lormand of Abbeville; son, Raymond William Freddie Lormand of Bristol, England; two daughters, Connie Vincent and husband Thomas of Erath, and Velia L. Manteaux of Abbeville; grandchildren, Kyi William Lormand of Mandeville, Chad William Vincent of Delcambre, Christopher William Vincent of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Tommy James Vincent of Erath, Brian James Monteaux of Butte LaRose, Jay Anthony Monteaux of Abbeville, and Mark Lormand of Bristol, England; six great granddaughters; four great grandsons; and two step great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Freddie and Roberta Trahan Lormand; and a son, Donnie William Lormand.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, May 25, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
