Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Friday, June 10, 2016 at a 3:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of May Grace Hebert Guillot, 76, who died Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Baton Rouge General.
She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Reverend Louis Richard officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Ricky Guillot, Sr., Ricky Guillot, Jr., Hilton Stroder, Marcus Stroder, Jody Delcambre, and Jeremy Stroder. Honorary pallbearers will be Kasey Delcambre, Noah Richard, Caroline Stroder, and Carson Stroder.
Grace was a loving wife, devoted mother, proud grandmother and great grandmother was a woman of strong Catholic faith. She was an active bingo player and enjoyed collecting angels.
She is survived by her son, Ricky Guillot, Sr. and his wife Leota of Church Point; daughters, Terry G. Stroder and her husband Hilton, Marie Guillot, and Charlotte Guillot all of Abbeville; four grandchildren, Jeremy Stroder, Marcus Stroder and his wife Ashley, April Guillot, and Ricky Guillot, Jr.; three great grandchildren, Noah Richard, Carson Stroder, and Caroline Stroder; special granddaughter, Bernadine LeBlanc; two brothers, Preston Hebert, and Arcade Hebert, Jr.; and sister, Laura Mire.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dudley Guillot; parents, Arcade Hebert and the former Margaret Gaspard; son, Chris Guillot; sisters, Anna Lou Hebert, Mayola Landry, and Fay Buelah Gaspard; and brothers, Wiley, Emory, Robert, Roland, Elie, Ory, and Harold Hebert.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, June 10, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. until 2:45 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
