She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Keith Choate and wife Katie of Erath; daughter, Susan C. Bourgeois and fiance’ Roddy Abshire of Abbeville; sister, Arlene Breaux; ten grandchildren, Eric Hardy, Patrick Bourgeois, Michael Bourgeois, Katie Abshire, Regina Michealson, Marcus Goucher, Jessica Walls, Bryan Choate, Johnette Bourque, and Tammy Sanders; sixteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Weston Choate, parents, John Breaux and the former Lucille Roy; brother, Clodis Breaux; two sisters, Theresa Bourque and Lelia Hargrave, and a great grandchild, Madison Bourgeois.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, June 12, 2016 from 2:00 pm until 10:00 pm with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 pm; Monday, June 13, 2016 from 8:00 am until time of service.
