Jett graduated from Kaplan High School in 2005.
She is survived by her daughter, Kaydence Elizabeth Bertrand of Kaplan; her son, William Clay Gardiner of Kaplan; stepdaughter, Emma Claire Gardiner of Abbeville; parents, Clay Sellers and Madge Koch Sellers of Abbeville; Christopher Gardiner of Kaplan; Joshua Paul Bertrand of Kaplan; one sister, Jade Elizabeth Sellers and Travis Hoover of Abbeville; maternal grandmother, Ruby Bergeron Koch of Abbeville; paternal grandmother, Mary Rose Gary of Abbeville; grandmother, Mary Mouton Sellers of Forked Island; great grandmother, Marjorie Bergeron of Abbeville; three nephews, Trenton, Tyrin and Trey Hoover, all of Abbeville; her godmother, Phyllis Koch DeHart of Abbeville; her godfather, Chad Wayne Trahan of Abbeville; and numerous aunts and uncles. Jett was a wonderful daughter, mother and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Joseph H. Sellers and maternal grandfather, Bernell Wayne Koch.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, May 29, 2009 from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Saturday, May 30, from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for the church.
