Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 23, 2016 at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Darnele “Dano” Primeaux Hebert, 71, who died Monday, June 20, 2016 at Lafayette General Medical Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services.

She is survived by her son, David L. Hebert and his wife, Georgia of Kaplan; two daughters, Claudia and her husband, Donny Broussard of Kaplan and Mary and her husband, Curt Trahan of Kaplan; one sister, Patti-Jo Rentrop of Kansas City; one brother, Gary Primeaux of Dallas, TX; seven grandchildren, Jana L. Thomas, Hailey C. Trahan, Skye D. Byrd, Peyton Hebert, Rusty Touchet, Keesha Broussard, and Paige A. Trahan; one step-grandchild, Joshua Rogers; five great grandchildren, Amelia Thomas, Zoe Maturin, Alyia Broussard, Kylie Suggs, and Aubree Touchet.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dalton Primeaux and the former Nona Belle Bonin; one sister, Ann Claire Meaux; one brother, Michael D. Primeaux; and one great-grandson, Branson Michael Taylor.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 8 a.m. until services.
