Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2009 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Richard Lee Ackley, 58, who died Saturday, May 30, 2009 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Donnie Crane officiating the services.

He is survived by his mother, Nita Beason of Kaplan; one son, Anthony Lee Ackley; two sisters, Linda Raines of Pasadena, Texas and Patricia and her husband Bradley Adams of Kaplan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Elvin Ackley and a brother Ronnie Ackley.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, June 1, 2009 from 8:30 a.m. until services.
