Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Friday, June 24, 2016 at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Laura Hebert, 96, who died Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services.

Serving as pallbearers will be Rickey Brown, Sr., Rickey Brown, Jr., Aaron Fitszimmons, Charles Fitszimmons, Jr., Trey Fitszimmons, and James Blake.

She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Arabie of Kaplan and Marie and her husband, Byrum Brown of Carencro; four grandchildren, Charles Fitszimmons and his wife, Jessica, Aaron Fitszimmons, Darlene and her husband, Michael Johnson, and Rickey Brown Sr. and his wife Donna; six great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vanrace Hebert; four sisters; and one brother.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Friday, June 23, from 8 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
