Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Edna Boudreaux Cormier, 77, who died Sunday, June 26, 2016 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Abshire Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Elzie "Red" Cormier of Kaplan; two sons, Willie Cormier and his wife, Mona of Cow Island and Stanley Cormier and his wife, Betty of Forked Island; one daughter, Patricia and her husband, Alfred Wicks of Lake Charles; two brothers, Preston Boudreaux of Lake Charles and Ray Boudreaux of Leblanc; seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Numa Boudreaux and the former Lillian Conner; and one great granddaughter, Rylie Guidry.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, June 27, 2016 from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 8 a.m. until services.
