She is survived by her three sons, Mark Campbell, Mitchell Bertrand, and Marlon Bertrand; one daughter, Michelle Powell; one sister, Ella Mae Touchet; five grandchildren, Mindy Dalebout, April Miller, Jenna Touchet, Shalacey Bertrand, and Kaylee Bertrand; five great grandchildren, Mia Stelly, Davin Miller, Alex Dalebout, Kaylee Dalebout, and Matthew Dalebout; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Trahan and the former Odia Fontenot; one brother, Ray Allen Trahan; and four sisters, Gelta T. Frith, Winnie T. Domingue, Alva Jane T. Suire, and Leorna T. Richard.
The family would like to thank the staff of Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital, Lafayette General Hospital, St. Joseph Hospice, and Father Keith Landry. A special thanks to family and friends in their time of need.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.
