He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Sidonia L. Primeaux of Kaplan; three daughters, Linda and her husband, Jimmy Abshire of Kaplan, Earline and her husband, Vernice Lavergne of Wright, and Tina and her husband, Troy Marceaux of Wright; one sister, Vellen Trahan of Wright; six grandchildren, Cassie and her husband, Michael Sistrunk, Marcus Abshire and his wife, Marchelle, Kimberly and her husband, Troy Maturin, Glenn Lavergne and his wife, Crystal, Seth Marceaux, and Mia Marceaux; seven great grandchildren, Mitchell Sistrunk, Bethany Sistrunk, Austin Abshire, Jaida Abshire, Chloe Maturin, Gavin Lavergne, and Macie Lavergne.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Victorien Primeaux and the former Clixte Saltzman; two brothers, Nicholas Primeaux and Theodore Primeaux; and one brother-in-law, Kersey Trahan.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 8 a.m. until services.
