She was a professional babysitter, a committed house wife and full time giver of prayers. She was known as the "CEO" of the Thibodeaux household.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, RJ Thibodeaux; sons, Brian Paul O'Quain (Breez-O) (42); son, Luke Joseph Thibodeaux II, Esq (38) and his wife Morgan McCann Thibodeax and their children, Alexandra "Aline" Thibodeaux (15), Jackson Tyler Hutchinson (8), Audrey Ellen Hutchison (6), Luke Joseph Thibodeaux III (7 Months); son, Eric Gabriel Thibodeaux (34) and his children, Aysia Michelle Thibodeaux (13), Emma Gabriel Thibodeaux (10) and Riker John Thibodeaux (5); and son Michael James Thibodeaux (31); sisters, Sandra Kay O'Quain Bergstedt, Glenda Sue O'Quain Roy, and Holly O'Quain; and brothers, Larry Earl O-Quain, Michael Shane O"Quain, Matthew Wayne O'Quain, Wendell Craig O'Quain, Gary Lynn O'Quain and Mark A. O'Quain.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jarsen O'Quain and the former Lula Mae Abshire; and a sister, Valentina O'Quain LeJuene.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, July 11, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church. A rosary will be prayed at 10:00 a.m.
