She will be laid to rest at Esther Community Cemetery with Reverend Wallace Primeaux officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Al Lee, Aaron Lee, Walter Toups, Jr, John Russell Lemaire, Joseph Charles Dies, and Andre’ Monceret. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Lee, Garner Lee, Glenn Touchet, Coy Durke, Dr. Ronald Armond Jenkins, Virginia Monceret and Hon. Sylvia R. Cooks.
She is survived by her sons, Ted L. Luquette and Philip C. Luquette; daughter, Cynthia Lee Luquette; sister, Lucille L. Jones; grandson, Graham Louis Luquette; granddaughters, Elizabeth P. Luquette and Nichole Luquette; granddaughter-in-law, Allana Dunkin Luquette; and great grandchildren, Aidyn River Luquette and Jaxtyn Phoenix Luquette.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Calvin Luquette; parents, Henry Lee and the former Adella Toups; brother, David Lee; sister, Theresa Lee Touchet; and Granville and Cecile Lee.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Esther Baptist Church, 12428 W La Highway 82, Abbeville on Sunday, July 10, 2016 from 10:30 a.m. until time of services.
