Joseph "T-Bruce" Savan Broussard

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services. Pallbearers include Elliot Broussard, Seth Broussard, Matt Broussard, Dustin Broussard, Colby Broussard and Kent Badeaux. Readers include Dana Broussard, LaDana Fontenot and Kyla Badeaux.

Mr. Broussard was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He retiered from Odeco with over 25 years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing cards and bingo. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lorenia LeBouef Broussard of Abbeville; sons Bradly Broussard and wife Goldie of Perry and Kevin Broussard and wife Dana of Abbeville; daughters, Brenda Broussard of Abbeville, Teena Broussard of Abbeville, Michelle Broussard of Abbeville, Roxie Broussard of Perry, Loma Broussard of Lafayette and Tamara Baudoin and husband Tommy of St. Martinville; grandchildren, Kyla "Kent" Badeaux, Dustin Broussard, Shaska Broussard, JaKeysha Broussard, Elliot Broussard, Destiney Broussard, Alyssa Broussard, Matt Broussard, Colby Broussard, Seth Broussard, Sancee Broussard, Tasha Broussard and Tommy Baudoin, Jr.; step grandchildren, Donna Choate and Denaise Choate; seven great grandchildren; five step great grandchildren; one brother, Paul L. Broussard and wife Betty of Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his infant son, Ronald Broussard; son, Rody Broussard; daughter-in-law, Jamie Broussard, grandson, Jabion Broussard; parents, Remus Broussard and Olive Roy; sisters, Adley Broussard, Lorita Racca, Helen Broussard Gilbert, Amelia DeMarcy, Mary "B" Doucet and Lelia Menard; and brothers, Lotard and Phillip Broussard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, June 15, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.. The family will reopen on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
