Kaplan—Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Gueydan First United Methodist Church honoring the life of Edwin T. Hair, 86, who died Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend John Krause officiating the services.

He is survived by his daughter, Joanna Hair Sistrunk and her husband, Robert Sistrunk; and five grandchildren, Samantha Sistrunk, Sophie Sistrunk, Noah Sistrunk, Jessica Hair, and Destiny Hair.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Best Hair; one son, Arthur Cody Hair; and his parents, Howard Hair and the former Mamie Walker.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, August 5, 2016 from 5 p.m. to until 9 p.m.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Gueydan First United Methodist Church.
