Kaplan — Services will be held at a later date honoring the life of John Curtis Mire, 66, who died Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Villa Feliciana Nursing Home.

He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Moore of Crowley; his mother, Irene B. Mire of Kaplan; one sister, Joycelyn Mire of Kaplan; two brothers, Albert Mire, Jr. of Kaplan and James B. Mire of Sulphur; two grandchildren; one great granddaughter; and ten nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Mire, Sr.; and one brother, Rodney J. Mire.
