Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Ewill Paul Hargrave, 83, who died Monday, August 8, 2016 at Post Acute Medical Specialty Hospital of Lafayette. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon Bill Vincent officiating the services.

He is survived by his two sons, Keith Hargrave and his companion, Kathy Harrington of Kaplan and Kevin Hargrave of Kaplan; four daughters, Brenda Hargrave of Kaplan, Edna and her husband, Kevin Guillotte of Kaplan, Terry and her husband, Kirby Hebert of Kaplan, and JoAnn and her husband, Kevin Housden of Erath; 15 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren; and 6 step-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Leonard Hargrave; his companion, Marie Authorine Guidry; his parents, Lodais Hargrave and the former Salize Miller; four brothers; and three sisters.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 8 a.m. until services.
