View Video TributeFuneral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of David Sean McDowell, 39, who died Saturday, June 20, 2009 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital.

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Fr. Brien Koehler officiating the services. He is survived by his wife, Amy Lyn Edwards McDowell; three sons, Sean, Jacob and Evan McDowell; a daughter, Holly McDowell; father, Ray Allen McDowell and his wife Flordury; and a sister, Kathleen McDowell.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle Aymond McDowell; brother in law, Tracy Richard; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.Dallas and Agnes Aymond; and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E.L. and Margie Davenport McDowell.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. The family will reopen on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. until time of services.
