Marie Romero Gisclair

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Msgr. Robert Romero, Jr. officiating the services.
Marie was a member of the St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church Ladies Altar Society.
She is survived by her three sons, Levy J. Gisclair and his wife Beverly of Kaplan, Larry J. Gislair and his wife Peggy of Houston, TX, and Jules Wayne Gisclair and his wife Debbie Holmes Gisclair of Butte La Rose; daughter, Gloria G. Theall of Abbeville; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; three and brothers, Robert Romero, Daniel Romero and Joseph E. Romero.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jules Gisclair; parents, Felician Romero and the former Julia Benoit; grandchildren, Donna Gisclair and David Gisclair; great grandchild, Victor Gisclair; sisters, Isabelle Gaspard, Florence Romero, Eunice R. Langlinais and Lizzie R. Trahan; and brother, Eugene Romero.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
