Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 22, 2016 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of S. J. “Junior” Luquette, 81, who died Friday, August 19, 2016. He will be laid to rest at Mire Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Audrey Luquette of Kaplan; one son, Billy Luquette and his wife, Sherri of Kaplan; three daughters, Donna and her husband, Jerald McCormick of Houston, TX, Rhonda Luquette of Kaplan, Mona and her husband, Chris Harrington of Kaplan; two sisters, Betty Libersat of Groves, TX and Ada Castille of Kaplan; one brother, Curtis Luquette of Perry; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sevengier Luquette, Sr. and the former Ida Hebert; and one brother, Raywood Luquette.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, August 21, 2016 from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m., with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Monday, August 22, form 8 a.m. until services.
