Theresa Guilbeaux Gunter

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Emmanuel Fernandez officiating the services.
She is survived by her husband, Charles "Po-Boy" Gunter of Abbeville; two sons, Edward Charles Gunter and his wife Roma of Abbeville and Lovelace Gunter and his wife Martha of Lafayette; grandchildren, Brett Gunter, Cody Gunter, Marcus Gunter, Lauren Gaspard and Amber Judice; and great grandchildren, Hailey Gunter, Taylor Gunter, Kaitlyn Gunter, Wyatt Gunter, Emmett Gunter, Zane Gaspard, Olivia Gaspard and Emmett Judice.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pierre Guilbeaux; brothers, Euclide Abshire, Wallace Guilbeaux, Leo Guilbeaux and Baptice Guilbeaux; and a sister, Eve Luquette.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, August 28, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Monday August 29, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. when the procession will depart for church.
