Elizabeth "Bessie" Bergeron

November 9, 1919 — June 27, 2009

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Elizabeth Mae Hebert Bergeron, 89, who died Saturday, June 27, 2009 at Vermilion Health Care Center.
She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Rev. Brad Guillory officiating the services.
She is survived by her son, John Clay Bergeron, of Maurice; one daughter, Maxine Ann B. Istre, of Maurice; twelve grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Curly Bergeron; parents, Nicholas Hebert and
Emily Hebert; son, Karl Louis Bergeron; Daughter, Gladys Rachael Bergeron; Brothers, Otis J., Walter J., Marion J. and Maxie J. Hebert; Sisters, Gussie Mae Brasseaux, Gladys Hebert, Iris Hebert and Anna Mae Hungerford.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, June 29, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. untill 8:00 p.m.,with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. untill time of services
