KAPLAN-Funeral services will be held Monday, September 12, 2016 at 2:00 PM at a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Gladys Duhon Cooley, 78 years, who died Friday, September 9, 2016 at Southwest Louisiana Veterans Home. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, C.B. Cooley of Jennings; her brother, Joseph C. Duhon of Kaplan; her sister, Maudrey "Bea" and her husband, Deral LeMaire of Beaumont, Texas; and her three stepchildren, Michael, Shelly, and Mark Cooley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leoussar Duhon and the former Blanche Touchet; her infant sister, Anna Mae; and two stepchildren Alana and Scott Cooley.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday September 11, 2016 from 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a chaplet and rosary being prayed at 3:00 PM; Monday, September 12, 2016 from 9:00 AM until the procession departs for the church.
