Rita Hebert Sehon

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Father Brad Guillory officiating the services. Mrs. Sehon was a very loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will always be remembered and missed by all who knew her.

Rita Hebert Sehon was born in Theall, LA, raised in Cow Island and resided in Perry, Louisiana.

Rita was a caring mother of three surviving sons, James Ferrell Sehon and his wife Carolyn of Abbeville, Robert Donald Sehon and his wife Mary of Patterson, and Dr. Charles Keith Sehon and his wife Robin of Ruston. Rita had nine grandchildren, Lisa Sehon Fournet married to Bill, Jessica Sehon Landry married to Brian, Kevin Sehon married to Dionne, Debbie Sehon Gaspar married to Timmy, Craig Sehon married to Karen, Monica Sehon Machno married to Harry, Erin Sehon Deville married to Ricky, Casey Sehon and Sydney Sehon. She was also the proud great grandmother of fourteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert James "Bob" Sehon; and one brother, Eraste Hebert.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, July 3, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, July 4, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
