GUEYDAN-Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at an 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Louella “Patin” Hungerford, 90 years old, who passed away at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. Interment will follow at Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend Corey Campeaux officiating the services.
She is survived by her two daughters, Connie and her husband, Johnny Mouton of Iowa and Sue Ellen and her husband, Wes Trahan of Maurice; one step-son, Harold Hungerford of Sulphur; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C.W. Hungerford, Jr.; one son, Larry Hungerford; her parents, Caliste Belaire and the former Malia Hebert; one brother, Caliste K. Belaire; and two sisters, Jane Belaire Romero and Rita “DeeDee” Belaire Barker Moore.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth St., on Tuesday September 27, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for the church.
