Gladys Broussard Mier

February 26, 1913 — July 3, 2009

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 5, 2009 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Gladys Hebert Mier, 96, who died Friday, July 3, 2009 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon Paul Roy Eleazar officiating the services.

She is survived by her daughter, Della and her husband C.J. Faulk of Abbeville; her daughter-in-law, Madeline Broussard of Marksville; nine grandchildren; and several great and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Aristile Broussard; her second husband, Wilson Mier; and her two sons, Donald Ray Broussard and Thomas J. Broussard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Saturday, July 4, 2009 from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 6 p.m.; Sunday, July 5, from 10 a.m. until services.
