Gueydan - Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan honoring the life of Warren Mouton, 90 years, who died Monday, October 10, 2016 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Rev. Rob Walls officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Benjamin Touchet, Graling Mouton, Casey Finley, Joel Rogers, Jude Reese, and Jacob Gillentine. Honorary pallbearers will be Byron Thackston, Gene Gillentine, Bryant Hargrave, and Theresa Gillentine.

He is survived by his two sons, Graling Mouton and his wife, Rose of Jennings and Warren "Poncho" Mouton and his wife, Shelia of Gueydan; five daughters, Russie and her husband, Bob Finley of Welsh, Emily Jane and her husband, Donald Touchet of Gueydan, Ginger and her husband, Sterling Simon of Morse, Pam and her husband, Patrick Hartwell of Gueydan, and Cheryl Sandling of Texas; one brother, Eugene Mouton; one sister, Gardeline Vallo; 20 grandchildren; and 40 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Mouton; one daughter, Rhonda M. Hauser; his parents, Wilfred B. Mouton and the former Eula Monceaux; three brothers, Milton, Melvin, and Roy Allen Mouton; and one sister, Marian Mouton Conner.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Heart of Hospice (750 Bayou Pines E a, Lake Charles, LA 70601) in memory of Warren Mouton.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth St., on Wednesday October 12, 2016 from 1:00 PM until 10:00 PM; Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 8:00 AM until services.
