Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Agnes Ann Ardoin, 54, who died Sunday, July 12, 2009 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Ferral Ardoin, Michael Ardoin, Shane Ardoin, Trevor Meaux, Richard Carpenter, Brandon Stelly, Mark Stelly and Chris Landry.
She is survived by her husband of thirty-six years, Ferral Ardoin of Kaplan; two sons, Michael Ardoin and his wife Madeline and Mark Shane Ardoin and his wife Mandy, all of Kaplan; one daughter, Michelle Landry and her husband Christopher of Lafayette; her mother, Joyce and stepfather, Victor Credeur of Rayne; mother-in-law, Yvonne Ardoin of Kaplan; one brother, Richard Carpenter and his wife, Tammy of Breaux Bridge; four stepbrothers, John R. Credeur of Breaux Bridge, Joseph Credeur of Mire, Ricky Credeur of Rayne, and Edmond Credeur of Carencro; three sisters, Sally and her husband Mark Stelly and Addie Carpenter, all of Breaux Bridge, and Alidia and her husband Kerry Bertrand of Rayne; three stepsisters, Peggy Williams and Rose Murphy of Rayne, and Betty Lepine of Westwego; and six grandchildren, Trevor Meaux, Christian Landry, Maci and Makenzi Ardoin, Taylor Thibodeaux and Mia Ardoin.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Carpenter; two brothers, Joseph R. and Randy Carpenter; one sister, Judith C. Viator; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Richard; and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Mitch Carpenter.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, July 13, 2009 from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m., Tuesday, July 14, from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for the church.
