Doris Marie Brasseaux
November 30, 1918 — October 29, 2016
She will be laid to rest at Bancker Cemetery with Rev. Gregory Cormier officiating the services.
She is survived by her two nephews, Stephen Kucera and his wife, Linda of Omaha, Nebraska, and Vince Kucera of Pocatello, Idaho; niece, Carolyn K. Williams of Pocatello, Idaho; cousin, Beverly Guidry; and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph "Joe" Thomas Miguez; parents, Elodias Brasseaux and the former Chole Moss; three sisters, Bernice Brasseaux, Audrey Kucera and Velta Miguez; and nephew, Tony Kucera.
The family would like to thank the staff and doctors of Maison Du Monde Living Center and Lamm Hospice for their constant care and concern during her illness. A special thank you to her friends, Sandra Touchet and Shannon LaSalle who took care of her and watched over her.
