Lula Mae Meyers Stoute

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Lula Mae Meyers Stoute, 91, who died Sunday, July 26, 2009 at Abbeville General Hospital.

She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Father Brad Guillory officiating the services.

She is survived by her sons, Gerald Stoute and wife Carolyn of Abbeville, Ronald Stoute and wife Lana of Erath and Donald Stoute and wife Trula of Youngsville; grandchildren, Lynette Falgout and husband Shane of Abbeville, Erica Hebert and husband Shannon of Abbeville, Kelli Mathias and husband Charles of San Antonio, TX., Kevin Stoute of Youngsville, Brooke Bernard and husband Bo of Erath, Kim Stoute of Lafayette, and Katherine Riemann and husband Jeff of Gulfport, Mississippi; and great grandchildren, Ada Mathias of San Antonio, TX and Elizabeth Colby Bernard of Erath.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elidier and Livie Dubois Meyers; husband, Claude Stoute; son, Bobby Stoute; and a grandson, Gary Stoute.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, July 27, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. untill 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. The family will reopen on Tuesday July 28, 2009, from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
