Louise Thibodeaux Cormier

June 23, 1918 — July 25, 2009

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Louise Thibodeaux Cormier, 91, who died Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services.

She is survived by one niece, Vernelle P. and her husband Dalton J. Hebert of Scott; two grandchildren, Peter James Daily and Michelle Marie H. Neal, both of Scott; one sister, Rita Thibodeaux Primeaux of Kaplan; one great nephew, Brandon LaBorde of Scott; two great nieces, Tiffany Louise Daily and Jena Corrine Daily, both of Lafayette; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Cormier; parents, Andrew Thibodeaux and the former Ezilda Simon; and one grandnephew, Phillip Craig Daily.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, July 27, 2009 from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, July 28, from 8 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
