A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 2:30 PM on Friday December 9, 2016 at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church honoring the life of Gloria Sellers, 86 years, who died Monday, December 5, 2016 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Rev. Gregory Cormier officiating the services.

She journeyed home to God with dignity and grace. She was a loving woman who lived her life devoted to her faith and her family. Gloria enjoyed her time spent at the Lafayette Public Library where she was a devoted employee for over 30 years. She will be dearly missed, but her family will always cherish the many memories of our family gatherings. Those times were her greatest joy.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Paul E. Sellers; Karen Sellers of Arnaudville, Sharon Winders and her husband, Bert of Lafayette, and Lisa Draughon and her husband, Steve of Lafayette; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Malon White and the former Lillian Luquette; and sister, Dorothy "Sing" Hebert.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Friday December 9, 2016 from 9:30 AM until 2:15 PM when the procession will depart for the church. A rosary will be prayed at 1:30 PM.
