Cecile Berube

September 6, 1915 — December 11, 2016

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Cecile Berube, 101 years, who died Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Nursing Home. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Rev. Austin Lege officiating the services.

She is survived by her niece, Lorraine Berube of Canada; one great niece, Marie-France Remillard; one great nephew, Louie Henri Remillard; three great-great nephews, Alexis Remillard, Matthieu Remillard, and Antoine Remillard; and one great-great niece, Lea-Rose Remillard.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Timothy Berube and the former Emma Cauchy; three sisters, Isabella Berube, Beatrice Berube, and Bernadette Berube; and seven brothers, Emile Berube, Gerard Berube, Monsignor Gustave Berube, Brother Robert Berube, Roland Berube, Father Jean Francois Berube, and Father Edward Berube.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church (600 N. Church Avenue, Kaplan, LA 70548) on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 from 10:00 AM until services with a rosary being prayed at 10:15 AM.
