Cow Island—Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 16, 2016 at St. Anne Catholic Church honoring the life of Summer Ann Trahan, 27 years, who died Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Lafayette General Medical Center. She will be laid to rest at Harrington Cemetery with Reverend Matthew Barzare officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Stoney Billedeaux, Chance Callouiet, Dylan Mathews, Beau Mathews, Dustin Trahan, and Brody Stelly.

She is survived by her husband of five years, Drake Channin Trahan of Forked Island; her daughter, Addyson Trahan of Forked Island; one step-daughter, Rylie Trahan of Maurice; her paternal grandparents, Olton and Patsy Billedeaux of Sulphur; two sisters, Tanya Billedeaux White of Florida and Tracey Harrington of Sulphur; and one brother, Stoney Billedeaux of California.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gregory James Billedeaux and Melissa Morgan Billedeaux; her sister, Marley Anne Billedeaux; and her maternal grandparents, Harold L. Morgan and the former Margaret A. Romine.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 12:00 PM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Friday, December 16, 2016 from 8:00 AM until the procession departs for the church.
