Wilfred "Boo" Joseph Guidry Iii

March 29, 1968 — August 2, 2009

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at a 1 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Wilfred "Boo" Joseph Guidry III, 41, who died Sunday, August 2, 2009 at Tulane Medical Center. He will be laid to rest at Mire Cemetery with Reverend Randall Moreau officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Rachel B. Guidry of Kaplan; five sons, Kenneth Wayne Daigle Jr. of New York, New York, Ronnie Chad Daigle of Kaplan, Kenneth Boyett Jr. of Kaplan, Wesley James Bourque of Kaplan and Robert Dwayne Bourque Sr. of Kaplan; his parents, Wilfred "Wishbone" Guidry II and Betty Ann S. Guidry of Kaplan; three brothers, Danny Guidry, Anthony Obra Guidry and Steven Daniel Guidry, all of Kaplan; five sisters, Annette and her husband, Farrel Harrington Jr. of Heburon, Kentucky, Priscilla and her husband, Douglas Beck of Heburon, Kentucky, Barbara and her husband, David Trahan of Kaplan, Jackie Daigle of Kaplan and Christina Lynn Guidry of Kaplan; one grandson, Robert Dwayne Bourque Jr.; and nine step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one niece, Cherise Nicole Harrington; and one sister, Tracy Marie Guidry.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 from 10 a.m. until services on Wednesday, August 5. A rosary will be prayed at 7 o'clock Tuesday evening.
