Lillian Vincent Hardin

Pecan Island—Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, August 6, 2009 at Pecan Island United Methodist Church honoring the life of Lillian Vincent Hardin, 93, who died Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. She will be laid to rest at Pecan Island Community Cemetery with Reverend John Vining officiating the services.

She is survived by her three sons, Earl Hardin Jr. and his wife, Florine of Pecan Island, Colby Brian Hardin and his wife, Karren of Erath and Jacob Paul Hardin and his wife Angie of Church Point; two daughters, Dainty and her husband, Gordon Bourque of Pecan Island and Annie Hebert of Kaplan; three brothers, Raleigh Vincent of Alvin, TX, Nolan Vincent of Pecan Island and Stanley Vincent of Abbeville; three sisters, Gerthel Decuire of Abbeville, Verda Choate of Pecan Island and Wyona Broussard of Kaplan; 14 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Hardin; two sons, Gilman and David Hardin; one daughter, Mildred Hardin; her parents, Lawrence Vincent and the former Eumaya Ditch; one grandson, Brandon Broussard; one granddaughter, Heather Hardin; two sisters; and three brothers.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Pecan Island United Methodist Church Wednesday, August 5, 2009 from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m.; Thursday, August 6, from 8 a.m. until services.
