He is survived by his wife Betty Jane Adams Meyers; sister, Lou Breaux; brother, Dalfred Meyers; four daughters, Chris Ann Hebert, Bonnie Booker, Sarah Hancock and Robin Bailor; two sons, Luke Meyers and Eric Meyers; nineteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, August Meyers; mother, Edna Meyers; five sisters, Claudia Rivet, Esther Verot, Gladys Thibodeaux, Bulah Thibodeaux, and Lee Winslow; and four brothers, Wilton, Milton, Norris and Carrol Meyers.
