Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 9, 2017 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Larry James Laviolette, 47 years, who died on Friday, January 6, 2017 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Broussard Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Vickie Laviolette of Kaplan; two sons, Alex Gaspard of Kaplan and Deion Laviolette of Kaplan; and two brothers, Barry Laviolette and his wife, Patricia of Crowley and Gerald Keith Laviolette and his wife, Emily of Crowley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Laviolette and the former Alice Quebedeaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Sunday, January 8, 2017 from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 6:00 PM; Monday, January 9, 2017 from 8:00 AM until services.
