Paul Ellis "Yet" Vidrine

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Paul Ellis Vidrine, 69, who died Sunday, August 9, 2009 at Abbeville General Hospital.

He will be laid to rest at St. David Chapel Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Gloria L. Vidrine of Kaplan; one son, Wayne Paul Vidrine of Kaplan; one daughter, Maylinda and her husband, Ricky Breaux of Gonzales; three stepsons, Preston LeMaire of Abbeville, Edward LeMaire of Erath and Jeffery LeMaire Jr. of Erath; one stepdaughter, Norma Romero of Erath; his father, Jessie Vidrine Sr. of Abbeville; one sister, Mary Ann and her husband Lurcey Broussard of Kaplan; four grandchildren, Katie and Reece Breaux, both of Gonzales, Lance and Paige Renee' Vidrine, both of Kaplan; nine step-grandchildren, Preston, Rozella, Gabrielle, Cindi, Dustin, Evan, Emma, Heather and Ryan; and one step-great grandchild, Elexis.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Anza LeBeouf; and one brother, Jessie Vidrine Jr.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, August 10, 2009 from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, August 11, from 8 a.m. until services.
