Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Frank Irvin James Jr., 53, who died Sunday, August 9, 2009 at Abbeville General Hospital.

He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services.

He is survived by four sisters, Linda and her husband, Mike of Kaplan, Frankie James of Leesville, Betty and her husband, James Jean of Cecilia, and Barbara and her husband, Gene Decker of Pineville; one brother, Jesse and his wife, Kandi James of Dubuque, Iowa; nephews, John Crocker of Bossier City, Jamie Andries of Waldorf, Maryland and Jesse "Beau" James of Camp LeJeune, North Carolina; niece, Carmen Andries of Lafayette; and great nieces and nephews, Tyler Andries of Waldorf, Maryland ,Kendall Crocker of Jackson, Mississippi, Jonathan Mace of Jackson, Mississippi, Laura Racca of Broussard and Hunter Broussard of Youngsville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Irvin James and the former Lorene Louise Brown; two nephews, Jeff and Rickey Crocker; and one niece, Holley James.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.; Wednesday, August 12, from 10 a.m. until services.
