Funeral services will be held Friday, August 14, 2009 at a 3:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church honoring the life of Blake James Stelly, 19, who died Wednesday, August 12, 2009 as the result of an automobile accident.

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services.

He is survived by his mother, Jennifer Vincent Touchet and husband Bill; father, Neil Stelly; fiancee, Trissy Hargrave; brothers, Bret, Tyler and Kameron Stelly; sisters, Monica Thibodeaux and Nicole Rodiguez; step brother, Hunter Vincent; maternal grandmother, Alva Broussard; paternal grandparents, Donald and Brenda Stelly; and godchild, Emma Mouton.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Carroll Lee Vincent; and great grandmother, Cecile Broussard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Thursday, August 13, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. until time of service on Friday. The family will pray a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening.
