Mabel Marie Baudoin

February 2, 1913 — August 25, 2009

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Friday, August 28, 2009 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church honoring the life of Mabel Marie Baudoin, 96, who died Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at Abbeville General Hospital.

She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services.

Mabel retired from Abbeville General Hospital as head house keeper with 28 years of service.

She is survived by her son Donald Breaux and wife Patricia of Abbeville; daughter, Betty Trahan Perero of League City, TX; two sisters, Lorraine Broussard of Abbeville and Rose Abshire of Maurice; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnaud Breaux; parents, John Baudoin and the former Marie Alleman; son, Nelson Trahan; brothers, Magnus Baudoin and Stephen Baudoin; sister, Odile B. Landry and son-in-law, I.J. Perero.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Thursday, August 27, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Friday, August 28, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
