Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Monday, August 31, 2009 at a 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Anna LaSalle, 67, who died Saturday, August 29, 2009 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband, J. Noris LaSalle of Kaplan; her son, Michael "Bulleye" Trahan of Kaplan; two daughters, Sheila and her husband, Wesley Hebert of Esther and Angela and her husband, Jason LeDoux of Gueydan; four grandchildren, Kayla and Megan Hebert and Brad and Brooke LeDoux; two brothers, Earl Dupont and his wife, Joyce of Rayne and Harold Dupont and his wife, Sharon of Duson; and one sister, Lucy and her husband, Murphy Alleman of Rayne.

She was preceded in death by her son, Bryant LaSalle; her first husband, Andrus Trahan; her sister, Velma Villejoin; two brothers, Bucy and Lennis Dupont; her great niece, Carolina Schmidt; her nephew, Eric Alleman; and her parents, Lucien Dupont and the former Natalie Leger.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, August 30, 2009 from 11 am until 10 pm with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Monday, August 31, from 8 am until procession departs for the church.
