Gueydan—Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Gueydan Cemetery honoring the life of Rodney S. LeJeune Sr., 82, who died Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at his residence. Reverend Corey Campeaux will be officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Earline B. LeJeune of Gueydan; two sons, Conrad LeJeune of Gueydan and Allen Neal LeJeune and his wife, Janet of Kaplan; three daughters, Patricia LeJeune of Lafayette, Debra and her husband Allen Petry of Gueydan, and Catherine and her husband, Lee Myers of Gueydan; one brother, Wilson LeJeune of Gueydan; eleven grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Rodney LeJeune Jr.; one grandson, Ray Lee Myers II; five brothers, Nelson, Warren, Oran, Roland, and Citman LeJeune; and his parents, Dalva LeJeune and the former Edna Hebert.
