Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Eula Jean "Dodge" Guidry, 81, who died Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Paul Bienvenu officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Raymond "Nonc Ray" Guidry of Kaplan; one daughter, Carol Guidry Boudreaux of Kaplan; one son, Calvin John Guidry of Pasadena, TX; two grandchildren, Samantha and her husband, Casey J. Lopez of Kaplan and Nicholas Lee Boudreaux of Kaplan; two great grandchildren, Jessa Lopez and Bryson Lopez of Kaplan; one brother, Joseph Elwood Suire of Topsy, LA; and one half sister, Helen Corner of Deer Park, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Dulia Suire.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Friday, March 24, 2017 from 8:00 AM until services.
