Nunez—Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Nunez Baptist Cemetery honoring the life of Theresa Ann Toups, 80, who died Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Yoakum Community Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Nunez Baptist Cemetery with Pastor Lee Rodgers officiating the services.

She is survived by her son, Dwayne Simon and his wife, Catherine of Kaplan; one daughter, Debbie and her husband, Chris Fritz of Yoakum, TX; one sister, Jeanette and her husband, Bob Broussard of Willis, TX; and six grandchildren, Pamela Uriegas, Michael B. Uriegas, Matthew Fritz, Joshua Simon, Joey Simon, and Jacob Simon; and four great grandchildren, Hunter, Michael Jr., Aiden, and Ryker.

She was preceded in death by her son, Brian K. Simon; one brother, Ray Toups; her parents, Ambrose Toups and the former, Susan Bourgeois; and two great grandchildren, Journeylynn and Jeremy Uriegas.
