He is survived by his two sons, Trent Darby and his wife, Betty of Saucier, MS and Travis Darby and his wife, Jennifer of Petal, MS; three grandchildren, Ashton Darby, Logan Darby, and Jace Darby; one great grandchild, Jake Darby; three sisters, Goldie Heard of Gueydan, Roberta Mire of Morgan City, and Earline Suire and her husband, Stacy of Kaplan; five brothers, Thomas Darby and his wife, Velta of Abbeville, Curtis Darby and his wife, Emily of Pearland, TX, Doisey Darby and his wife, Marilyn of Sulphur, Earl Darby and his wife, Sarah of Abbeville, Robert Darby and his wife, Judy of Morgan City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lionel Darby and the former Ella Lege; one brother, Raymond Darby; three sisters, Hazel Patterson, Joyce Hebert, and Beverly Myers; one granddaughter, Brittlyn Darby.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Friday, April 14, 2017 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM; Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 8:00 AM until services.
