Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2009 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Jeanelle Duhon Landry, 67, who died Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at Lafayette General Medical Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with officiating the services.

She is survived by one daughter, Sharon and her husband, Tommy Herpin II of Maurice; one son, Carl W. Landry and his wife Tiffany of Lafayette; four grandchildren, Christine Herpin, Trent Herpin, Anthony Landry and Jenna Daily; and her uncle, Lloyd Duhon of Port Arthur, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul "Buck" Landry; her parents, Olear Duhon and the former Felecia Schexnider; and her good friend, Edmond Harrington.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, September 3, 2009 from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Friday, September 4, fom 10 a.m. until services.
